Before travelling on our truck shuttles, please make sure your vehicle meets our maximum size and weight requirements.
44 tons is the weight limit for trucks on LeShuttle Freight Please note that for safety reasons, campervans are not authorised to travel on our truck shuttles.
Eurotunnel reserves the right to refuse any vehicle considered as unsuitable for travel with our service. If you have any questions regarding specific vehicles please contact the Commercial Department.

Flammable Gas Powered Vehicles
Flammable gas powered vehicles (i.e. vehicles fitted with flammable gas tanks as an alternative fuel) and dual powered vehicles (i.e. flammable gas and other fuels) are NOT ACCEPTED for transport on LeShuttle Freight. This includes the following types of flammable gas:
- LNG – liquified natural gas (methane)
- CNG – compressed natural gas (methane)
- LPG – liquified petroleum gas
This restriction remains in force even if the flammable gas tank is empty, or the flammable gas mode of the vehicle is not selected.
